Usually our dreams are filled with people. We dream about our families, our friends, our neighbors, and our classmates. We dream about strangers, colleges, famous people, teachers, and, at times, our supposed enemies. Each dream is very special and carries its own unique message. We learn about ourselves through others, and probably our most valuable possessions are our relationships. A Question:
Dreams about people from my past?

I always have dreams about all of my friends from high school. I am in my last year of college, about to graduate, but I hardly ever have dreams about people from college or from work. Maybe 1 in 100 dreams.

My dreams are constantly about people from high school...friends, teachers, my family (who I am not very close with to begin with. My own decision...they want to be close with me but I don't with them).

Someone told me this is because I subconsciously want to be with those people again...but I gladly left them behind when I graduated and never spoke with them again. I wanted to get on with my life and meet new people.

Could it be that my dreams really mean this? Consciously I don't want anything to do with them anymore, they're all in my past.

So what do these dreams really mean?

To see people from your past in your dream, refers to your shadow and other unacknowledged aspects of yourself. It can represent a waking situation that is bringing out similar feelings as your past relationships.
